FORMER Reading rider and promoter Malcolm Holloway has sadly passed away at the age of 55.
Malcolm enjoyed a productive speedway career with the Racers and then took over in the promotional hotseat for the final 18-months of action at Smallmead.
He has died after suffering a heart attack, and we send all of our condolences to his family and friends.
Reading Speedway spokesman Andy Povey said: "I got to know Malc well during his promoting time at Reading and we also spent many hours on the road together following and working with the team between 2007-08.
"He put his trust in me and he was great to work with.
"Simply a nice guy and someone who just loved life and speedway.
"A real character and entertainer on and off the track.
"He'll be sadly missed by all those that knew him."
