DETAILS have been confirmed for the coach travelling up from Reading for Phil Morris’ Farewell meeting at Birmingham on Thursday September 1.
The coach which has been kindly provided by Ivan Shears of Chalfont Coaches is now fully-booked and will depart from Reading FC’s Madejski Stadium car-park at 3.30pm.
Paul Hunsdon from the organising committee has confirmed that Madejski Stadium Manager Ray Booth has given permission for fans to park at the stadium and for the coach to pick up and drop off from the main car park close to the stadium's Megastore.
Hunsdon said: "I would like to thank Ray for his permission as the Madejski is an ideal location with it being so close to the old Speedway stadium site.”
The coach will depart at 3.30pm prompt and supporters will be issued with their admission tickets on the coach. They will also be given a souvenir programme of the event upon arrival at Birmingham’s Perry Barr Stadium.
Hunsdon has urged any fans who have booked and are now unable to make the event to let him know as soon as possible as he does have a reserve list of people who would like to go.
A reminder to fans booked that all inclusive prices are £20 for Adults, £15 for Concessions and £10 for Children.
